Description: Everyone on the brewing floor should consider themselves part of the QA team, and this begins with tasting. This interactive session will explore the processes driving off-flavours and help attendees learn how to identify them. Lab techniques that support off-flavour detection will be explained and linked back to the process steps where the issues arise. If you handle beer from the brewhouse to the taproom, this session is for you.
